About
A Canberra practice for public-sector technology.
A1Force Pty Ltd works with Australian Government agencies on cloud, cyber security, data platforms, modernisation, citizen services, managed operations, and automation. Engagements are led from Sydney.
The company
A1Force Pty Ltd is an Australian proprietary company registered in December 2017. The office is at Level 57, 25 Martin Place, Sydney, 2000, NSW, Australia. The practice describes its delivery as running from 2018.
We stay close to the work. A named engagement lead stays from the first workshop through handover, so the agency is not passed between a sales contact and a distant delivery team.

How an engagement runs
Four stages, then the agency owns it.
-
01
Discovery
Workshops map the current system, the outcome, and the obligations: security, privacy, accessibility, and reporting.
-
02
Strategy and design
Options and a target architecture are set out in a sequence that fits the budget cycle and the people who approve it.
-
03
Iterative delivery
Work moves in short cycles. A steering meeting sees progress and risk while there is still time to adjust.
-
04
Handover
Documentation, training, and 90 days of hypercare after go-live, so the agency can operate without us in the room.
How the work is held
- Security is part of the design. Controls are discussed against the Information Security Manual and the Protective Security Policy Framework from the start.
- Public-facing services are planned to the Digital Service Standard, with WCAG 2.1 AA as a build requirement.
- If a role needs a security clearance, that requirement is agreed before anyone is assigned.
- Rates and the shape of the team are set out at the start of the engagement.
- Reporting is written so a steering committee can read it without a translation.
